Meet Jaimie

As a growing agency, we have new faces in the office every once in a while. Today we’re introducing our newest Operations Associate, Jaimie Wilson.

Propel: Welcome to the team, Jaimie! We love to get to know our coworkers here at Propel with a little blog about them — and now it’s your turn! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself first?

Jaimie: Sure! I grew up in Rhode Island, and lived in New England all of my life. Went to college at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut and then moved to Boston, where I spent the last 11 or so years. This past July I moved to Raleigh from Boston with my now husband — it’s the first time I’ve lived outside the northeast with the exception of study abroad in Italy. Since we moved to Raleigh we’ve pretty much checked off every big life event possible – moved to a new state, got married, started new jobs, bought a townhouse and now having a baby!

P: Wow! Congrats on all of those huge life milestones! Now, for an important office question: what’s your favorite food?

J: Basically anything pasta, Italian or seafood!

P: Yum! Here at Propel we’re all about tacos, but pasta is probably a close second. Since you’re a huge pasta fan, I’m glad you’ve gotten the chance to travel to Italy! If you could travel anywhere right now, where would it be?

J: If you asked me this two months ago, I would have said Italy or Greece. Italy is my home away from home and Greece has always been on my bucket list. However, right now, I’d like to go to any one of three places – my parents in Florida or either of my best friends in Boston & New York.

P: Ah yes, during quarantine I’m sure all of us would be happy to be able to get on a plane to, well, anywhere. Speaking of quarantine, what’s the first thing you’re going to do when this all ends?

J: I’d love to say finally go explore the area because we haven’t had a chance to explore much since moving to North Carolina. However, It’s more likely I’ll be packing our hospital bag for baby’s arrival!

P: Super exciting! What would you say is one thing you couldn’t live without?

J: Probably the 32 ounce water bottle I carry with me everywhere I go. It drives my husband nuts because it doesn’t fit in cup holders and is always falling over in the car.

P: Staying hydrated is definitely important. Now for our last question: At Propel, we like to say we’re a superpower for our clients. What would your super power be?

J: To be able to fall asleep in 10 seconds like my husband does.
